
Rob Youngson is an associate at Fineberg Ramamoorthy LLP. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, including trademark disputes, pharmaceutical patent litigation, and Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) proceedings.
Before joining Fineberg Ramamoorthy, Rob articled and worked as an associate with a prominent Ottawa intellectual property litigation firm where he gained experience practicing before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Trademarks Opposition Board. Rob has conducted discoveries in intellectual property damages cases, successfully represented clients in Court-assisted mediation, and participated in a trial in the Federal Court.
Rob obtained his J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, Common Law Section. During law school, Rob was a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow and assisted new law students by leading tutorial sessions of the first year course, Principles of Legal Research.
